1. Causes Fetal activity wraps the cord; long cord, excess amniotic fluid, or small fetus increase the chance.
2. Responses • Stay calm: it is common and usually not severe; avoid needless anxiety. • Regular prenatal visits: ultrasound shows cord position; doctor advises if too tight or oxygen lack. • Monitor fetal movement: count at fixed times morning/noon/night; see a doctor if abnormal. • Sleep position: left side improves placental blood flow and reduces oxygen-risk. • Avoid strenuous exercise: choose walking, prenatal yoga.
3. Risks Tight wrapping may compress the cord and cause fetal hypoxia or growth restriction, and may raise cesarean likelihood if oxygen drops at delivery.
4. Can One Loop Deliver Vaginally? If not tight and no other abnormality, vaginal delivery is possible; if tight or oxygen-lacking, the doctor may advise cesarean for safety. (More info: QR code or 181-0136-5219.)
