"    When I first met Wang Wei and his wife in my clinic, they had a familiar sense of exhaustion-it was the expression unique to them after many failed test-tube babies." Director Liu of the Reproductive Center said. 37-year-old Wang Wei has completed three complete cycles in two well-known reproduction centers in China in the past five years: three promotion cycles and three transplants. The result was one biochemical pregnancy and two embryos failed to implant at all.
"Every time it starts with hope, and then..." Wang Wei's husband shook his head and didn't say any more. Their medical records are thick, recording different plans, different drugs, and similar results. This kind of "repeated planting failure" case is not uncommon in the reproductive department, but the pressure on every family has never been alleviated.
Financial pressures, career interruptions, and repeated disappointments with couples' emotional burnout have brought them to the brink of abandonment. "We are stuck in an endless cycle: changing hospitals, new solutions, hopeful, and then failure. No one can tell us where the core problem lies and where we should go next." Wang Wei's husband said.
The turning point came after they were introduced through an acquaintance and consulted Lelaiwa International Fertility Center. Different from ordinary information platforms, Lelaiwa is a professional global reproductive medical service organization. His medical team first conducted a systematic "medical review" of Wang Wei and his wife's messy medical history for several years. "They spent a long time sorting through all our medical records, including those embryo culture records that we couldn't understand ourselves." Wang Wei recalled. "This is not just about collating medical records, but a comprehensive fertility assessment and analysis of past cycles." Le Laiwa's medical consultant explained. The analysis report pointed out two potential key points that were previously ignored: First, the quality of Wang Wei's embryos may be unstable when they develop to the blastocyst stage on the fifth day, and the domestic routine third-day transfer strategy may not be able to screen out the most potential embryos; Second, complex immune and coagulation screening has blind spots, which may affect the implantation microenvironment.
Based on this in-depth analysis, Leriva did not recommend that they continue to try homogenized treatment in the country, but based on their core needs of “embryonic development potential” and “personalized endometrial preparation”, from its global cooperation network, matched the recommendations of Bangkok, Thailand.Danjuo International Reproductive Center. The reasons for recommendation are professional and clear: the center's embryo laboratory has the world's leading time-difference culture monitoring system and embryo genetic testing (PGT-A) capabilities, and is especially good at cultivating and screening high-quality blastocysts; its attending doctor is well known for dealing with repeated implantation failures (RIF) and developing personalized pre-transplant preparation plans.
"This is completely different from our previous feelings of checking information and listening to publicity on our own. Le Laiwa matched the 'prescription' based on our 'cause' rather than recommending a 'famous' hospital." Wang Wei's husband said.
They traveled to Bangkok under the full coordination of Leriva. From the early video consultation and medical visa, to every medical treatment and translation coordination during my stay in Thailand, there are dedicated personnel to connect.Afterreviewing the medical records, doctors from Danruo International formulated a mild stimulation plan completely different from that in China, aiming to obtain "few but more refined" eggs. In the end, they obtained 3 blastocysts and screened out a high-quality embryo with completely healthy chromosomes through genetic testing (PGT-A). Before the transplant, Danruo's doctor also made fine adjustments to Wang Wei's endometrial condition.
At the end of last year, after the fourth embryo transfer, Wang Wei finally ushered in the continuous doubling of hCG values and the powerful fetal heartbeat on the B ultrasound screen. "The feeling at that moment was not entirely ecstasy, but more like a kind of solidity and calm after a long wandering and finally landing." Wang Wei recalled.
Wang Wei's experience reflects a new trend in the field of assisted reproduction: in today's increasingly globalized reproductive medicine, professional cross-border medical coordination services are changing the child-seeking path of many families. It does not mean that domestic technology is insufficient, but provides more options for specific situations, especially cases that require different ideas after multiple failures.
Each family's situation is unique and there is no one-size-fits-all solution. But the experience of Wang Wei and his wife reminds us that when we are repeatedly blocked in a medical system, sometimes taking a step and accessing another medical idea and resources with the assistance of professional institutions may open up new possibilities. The key is to find the "bridge" that truly understands your medical history and accurately matches global resources.
On the road of reproductive medicine, technology, programs, and timing are equally important, and professional navigation often allows these elements to produce the right combination at the right time and place.
