Dr. Prakash was born in Malacca and completed primary education in Tangkak and secondary education in Klang. Graduated from the University of Malaya in 2005 with a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery. After completing his internship at Kashentenku Amprahima Hospital, he received professional training in obstetrics and gynecology at his alma mater, and was awarded a Master of Medicine (Obstetrics and Gynecology) in 2013.
He began to serve as a specialist at Sarawak Hospital in Kuching.
.Subsequently, he also served as a visiting expert at Sibu Hospital, Bintulu Hospital, Sliman Hospital, Bayton Hospital and Kapit Hospital.
In Huss, he developed his skills in laparoscopic surgery.
